In their home opening weekend, the Long Beach Sharks (NA3HL) junior team rolled over the Cape Cod Islanders by sweeping the weekend series at the Long Beach Arena. The Sharks beat Cape Cod 5-2 on Friday night and 6-3 on Saturday. Cade Lambdin led the team with 5 goals & 5 assists on the weekend. Returning veteran, Dino Mukovoz had 7 assists, while Noah Carlock, the NA3HL’s Coastal Division player of the week, added 3 goals and an assist. The Sharks sit on top of the NA3HL Coastal Division standings and are a perfect 4-0 after two (2) weekends of league play.
Next up, the Sharks will host the Northeast Generals at the Long Beach Arena on Friday, September 21. The puck drops at 8:30 p.m. The teams will also do battle on Saturday, September 22 at 2:30 p.m.
