The Long Beach Sharks (NA3HL) opened the 2017-2018 season in Portland against the Maine Wild and won two (2) overtime thrillers. On Saturday night, the Sharks won in overtime on a goal by C.J. Smith. On Sunday, the Sharks won again in a double overtime shootout. The clinching goal was scored by Trey Stober. “You can’t win them all until you win the first one, then the next one, and so on” said Sharks General Manager, Buzzy Deschamps.
The Sharks open at home this coming weekend hosting the Lewiston/Auburn Nordiques at the Long Beach Municipal Arena. The puck drops on Friday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Sept 23rd, game time is 8:05 p.m.
