The Sharks hit the ice on Wednesday for a midweek matchup against the New Jersey Titans.
The Sharks got on the board first with a goal from Brendan Dalton, who ripped a shot from the top of the circle off a faceoff win and pass from James Steinberg. The Titans responded in the second period, taking a brief lead, but the Sharks’ defense locked things down for the rest of the game. The Sharks tied it up in the third with a backhand shot by Eli McCarthy that sailed over the goalie’s shoulder off a beautiful outlet pass by Ryder Pisiak. Just 55 seconds later, Jack Baker fed Alec Dahlvang in the slot for a perfect tip-in past the Titans’ netminder to give the Sharks the lead. Wyatt Strahan sealed the victory with an empty-netter late in the period, lifting the Sharks to a 4–2 win over the Titans.
The Sharks are back in action this Saturday, November 1st, as they head up to Norwich to take on the Sea Captains. Puck drop is at 7:15pm. You can catch all of the action on NATV.
