The Sharks headed to New Jersey for a mid-week matchup against the Titans and came up short.
The Sharks got on the board first at 13:50 of the first period when Caden Shafer found the back of the net off of a pass by JD DiTommaso, but that was all the offense they could muster up. The Titans scored a short-handed goal to tie it up in the first and never looked back. The Titans added five more goals to defeat the Sharks by a score of 6-1.
The Sharks are back at Long Beach this weekend for a two-game series against the Sea Captains.
