The Sharks head north on I-95 to take on the Sea Captains in Norwich Saturday night in a close-fought battle that found the Sharks on top 2-1.
The Sharks kicked off the scoring in the first with a hard-fought battle in front of the crease, where Jack Baker was able to poke one past the Sea Captains’ netminder. The Sea Captains scored one late in the first to send the game tied into the first intermission.
Gustav Martinsson broke the tie early in the second, capitalizing on a rebound off a shot by Brendan Dalton from the point. That goal proved to be the game-winner as both goalies locked it up for the remainder of the game. Will Zinnen was solid in net for the Sharks, stopping 31 of 32 shots to notch his 3rd win of the season.
