The Sharks fall to the Kings 5-4

The Long Beach Sharks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Skylands Kings 27 shots throughout the game. The Skylands Kings took the lead late in the third on a goal from Eric Vanderhoff.

Ryan Sandberg contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Mike Walsh chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Lionel Landry did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Dylan Dinzik delivered for his team with 2 assists.

In the second, Vanderhoff opened the scoring for Skylands with a goal at 4:28. Bergman answered for the Sharks with a goal at 7:17 with helpers from his teammates Walsh and Bedard. Finkel quickly followed with a goal at 7:41 with helpers from his linemates, Andrey and Landry. Carlock answered for Long Beach with a goal at 14:11 with an assist from Mukovoz. Vanderhoff answered for Skylands with a goal at 16:19 with assists from his teammates Ford and Dinzik.

During the third period, Walsh answered for the Sharks with a goal at 5:58 with helpers from his linemates, Mukovoz and Sandberg. Sandberg netted a goal at 11:24 with assists from Bedard and Mukovoz. Landry answered for the Kings with a goal at 16:51 with helpers from his linemates, Ford and Garrigan. Vanderhoff quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:57 with an assist from defenseman Dinzik.

This loss brings the Long Beach Sharks’ record to (5-39-1-0).
