The Sharks junior hockey team (NA3HL) is off to a big start.

The Sharks junior hockey team (NA3HL) is off to a big start.  This past weekend, the team opened the 2018-2019 season on the road against the Maine Wild in Biddeford, Maine.  The Sharks swept the weekend series winning an overtime thriller on Saturday night 7-6 and winning 5-2 in the Sunday afternoon rematch.  All twelve (12) Sharks goals were scored by different players.  “This team is one of the strongest and fastest junior teams I have seen in a long time,” said team General Manager, Buzz Deschamps.  Coach Bobby Davis commented: “We have great depth throughout our line-up.  We don’t have a fourth line.  We have a first line and three lines that would be a second line on any other team in our league.”

The Sharks will play their first home game of the season against the Cape Cod Islanders this coming Friday, September 14th at the Long Beach Arena.  The puck drops at 8:30 p.m.  The Sharks will also play Cape Cod on Saturday, Sept 15th at 2: 30 p.m. at the Long Beach Arena.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend to cheer on the Sharks to two (2) more wins!
