The Sharks recorded a shutout against the Islanders 7-0 in home game

Hunter Norris posted a shutout, stopping all 27 of the Long Beach Sharks shots throughout the game. The Cape Cod Islanders took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Jack Conway and never looked back.

Leevi Kervinen contributed with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Jack Conway chipped in with 2 goals.

During the first period, Conway opened the scoring for the Islanders with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:34 with helpers from his teammates Sinisalo and Davis. St. Amand quickly followed with a goal at 9:00 with assists from his linemates, Sinisalo and Kervinen.

In the second period, Kervinen netted a goal at 12:31 with helpers from Davis and St. Amand.

During the third, Conway put in a goal at 1:10 with assists from Marston and Davis. Little deposited a goal at 14:01 with helpers from Sinisalo and Hinckley. Kervinen quickly followed with a goal at 16:00 with assists from his linemates, Doyon and Egan. Sinisalo scored a goal at 18:57 with a helper from defenseman Dougherty.

This loss brings the Long Beach Sharks’ record to (5-36-1-0).
