The Sharks recorded a shutout against the Stars 8-0 in home game

Andrew Ghimpeteanu posted a shutout, stopping all 13 of the Long Beach Sharks shots throughout the game. The New England Stars took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Cole Archambeault and never looked back.

Cole Archambeault had a busy night with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Ryan Caisse contributed with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

During the first period, Archambeault opened the scoring for the Stars with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:42 with helpers from his linemates, Caisse and Gudaitis.

In the second, Lapointe put in a goal at 4:43 with helpers from his teammates Archambeault and Flynn. Norris deposited a goal at 15:26 with assists from Wilson and Glover. Archambeault netted a goal at 18:29 with a helper from fellow Stars forward Caisse. Barone quickly followed with a goal at 19:07 with assists from Burnham and Cormier.

In the third period, Gudaitis put in a goal at 11:20 with helpers from his linemates, Gauvin and Burnham. Barter netted a goal at 13:41 with assists from Lovejoy and Flynn. Caisse deposited a goal at 15:49 with helpers from his linemates, Gudaitis and Lapointe.
