The Sharks struggled against the Islanders 5-2 in home game

Jackson Wellmeyer delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Leevi Kervinen did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Cody Doyon contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Kervinen opened the scoring for the Islanders with a goal at 8:02 with helpers from his linemates, Sinisalo and Doyon. Bergman answered for Long Beach with a goal at 11:09 with helpers from his linemates, Mukovoz and Wellmeyer. Wellmeyer put in a goal at 19:41.
