The Sharks struggled against the Junior Senators 14-1 in home game

The Long Beach Sharks struggled against the Binghamton Junior Senators allowing Brad Becker to score a hat trick as Long Beach crushed Binghamton 14-1 in a home game at Ice House Sports Complex in Long Beach. The Binghamton Junior Senators took the lead early in the first on a goal from Thomas Mandel Jr. and never looked back.

Dan Espe delivered for his team with 2 goals and Benjamin Beversdorf had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first period, Becker opened the scoring for Binghamton with a goal at 1:39 with a helper from Bogdziul. Mandel Jr. put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:00 with assists from his linemates, Beversdorf and Melso. Bogdziul quickly followed with a goal at 4:54 with helpers from Dzhangarashev and O’connor. Melso deposited a goal at 9:14 with assists from his linemates, Mandel Jr. and Beversdorf. Mandel Jr. put in a goal at 14:41 with helpers from teammates Dzhangarashev and Melso. Meier quickly followed with a goal at 15:22. Becker answered for Binghamton with a goal at 19:51 with assists from his linemates, Reifler and Bogdziul.

In the second, Wilber netted a goal at 2:03 with helpers from his linemates, Beversdorf and Becker. Beversdorf quickly followed with a goal at 2:36 with assists from his linemates, Wilber and Smith. Reifler deposited a goal at 12:38 with helpers from his linemates, Bogdziul and Becker. Melso scored a goal at 14:50 with assists from Gresham and Mandel Jr.

In the third, Becker netted a goal at 6:26 with helpers from his linemates, Bogdziul and Reifler. Espe put in a goal at 10:23 with an assist from fellow Junior Senators forward Beversdorf.
