The Sharks struggled against the Quake 5-2 in home game

The Long Beach Sharks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Yellowstone Quake 26 shots throughout the game. The Yellowstone Quake took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Max Meyer.

Carmine Taffo contributed with 2 goals and Oskar Lindberg did his part, adding 2 assists. Hunter Ruschmeyer chipped in with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Curt Greenbush delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first period, Lawman opened the scoring for the Quake with a goal at 8:26 with helpers from his teammates Greenbush and Ruschmeyer. Kelly put in a goal at 11:54 with helpers from his linemates, Lawman and Greenbush.

During the second, Taffo finally put the Sharks on the board with a goal at 4:40 with assists from Garcia and Lindberg. Meyer answered for Yellowstone with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:26 with helpers from Ruschmeyer and Doner. Ruschmeyer netted a goal at 13:13 with assists from Lawman and Stewart. Greenbush deposited a goal at 16:02 with a helper from his linemate Meyer.

During the third period, Taffo answered for Long Beach with a goal at 10:51 with assists from his linemates, Vitolins and Lindberg.
