The Sharks took a quick trip up i95 on Saturday night for a matchup against the Norwich Sea Captains. The game was a close defensive battle. There was no score after the first 20 minutes of play. The Sea Captains got on the board late in the second period with a shot from the point through traffic that got by the Sharks netminder, Turner England. The game remained that way until about five minutes left in the third period where the Sharks got caught in a line change and the Sea Captains took advantage to go up 2-0. The Sharks pulled the goalie and got some good attempts on net but ultimately gave up an empty net goal. The Sharks fell to the second place Sea Captains 3-0. The Sharks take on the Sea Captains again this weekend with a home-and-home series on Friday and Saturday. Puck drops at RoseGarden Ice Arena in Norwich at 12:15pm on Friday and in Long Beach on Saturday at 6:30pm. Tune into NAHL TV to catch the live action.
